By exploring essential storage facets within one shape, the Rivet Shelf serves both as a storage and display platform. The Shelf is assembled by hand using a hammer in a cold-forming assembly process developed by designer Jonas Trampedach using a riveting technique suitable for making perpendicular joints between raw aluminium sheets.

Designed and hammered by hand, each piece is unique. With a separate backplate, the Shelf is easy to mount. As aluminium is unfinished and raw, there may be scratches and natural irregularities on the surface at first. The material will inevitably patinate over time, resulting in marks and tinted materiality.

Depending on the wall material and how it is mounted, the Rivet Shelf can hold up to 10 kg. It can be used both indoors and outdoors; if placed outdoors, it will develop an elegant patina over time but will not rust or deteriorate.
